Football: Seychelles Schools’ Premier League   

Mont Fleuri (Tottenham) have extended their winning streak thanks to a 5-1 victory against English River (Aston Villa)

Independent School boys make epic comeback, Beau Vallon girls secure first win

 

Plaisance secondary school (Liverpool) dominated their game last week, earning a 6-1 win against French School (Nottingham Forest) on the astro-turf field, Roche Caïman in the Seychelles Schools Premier League to lead the boys’ standings.

Not too far behind with 15 points are the Mont Fleuri (Tottenham Spurs) team, fighting their way up the table, securing a 4-2 win in their match against English River (Aston Villa).

Once again putting on an impressive display on the field were Independent School, kitted in Manchester United colours, who made a stunning comeback in their game against Anse Boileau school (West Ham), winning 4-3. 

Beau Vallon school (Chelsea) played at home against Anse Royale school (Leicester City), concluding with a 2-2 draw.

Third-place contenders Pointe Larue school (Everton) earned a thrilling 2-0 win against Belonie (Manchester City), placing them just three points behind Mont Fleuri school.

On the girls’ side, only two matches were played last Wednesday. The Mont Fleuri (Tottenham) girls’ team extended their winning streak, locking on three points in a match against English River (Aston Villa) which they won 5-1.

Meanwhile, the Beau Vallon team celebrated their first win, defeating Anse Royale School (Leicester City) thanks to a stunning 3-0 victory.
