Special treat for patients of Paediatric Ward on Children’s Day |02 June 2023

On the occasion of Children’s Day yesterday, Skychef prepared and served a special lunch for children hospitalised in the Paediatric Ward at the Seychelles Hospital.

Four children and their parents enjoyed the sumptuous buffet prepared and served by Skychef’s staff, in the company of company’s chief executive, Veronique Laporte, the chief executive of the Health Care Agency, Dr Danny Louange, Dr Xavier Rose and other medical staff as well as Skychef’s team.

Skychef’s sale and marketing manager, Sharon Botchoix, said this was part of their activities to give back to the community.

“Children are very special to our hearts, so it is a pleasure to spend a few hours with them over lunch. We really thank Dr Louange and Dr Rose for allowing us to host this event,” said Ms Botchoix.

For his part, Dr Louange thanked the company for being a loyal partner to the Health Care Agency and said it was important to have the private sector helping out the government.

“Such occasions should be celebrated in a special way, and I know that the children would wish they were not in hospital today, and spending the day either at their schools or at home. So thank you for making this day extra special and joyful,” said Dr Louange.

The children also shared a special cake.
