Another exciting week of matches
Leaders Plaisance Liverpool maintained their dominance in the league last week with a convincing 6-0 win Belonie Manchester City, stretching their unbeaten run and bringing their points tally to 15.
The defeat keeps the Belonie side sixth overall on seven points.
English River School wearing Aston Villa’s jersey travelled south for a face-off with Anse Royale’s Leicester City, where the encounter ended on 2-2 draw.
The draw placed English River fifth overall on the ranking.
The Independent School kitted in Manchester United colours went head-to-head with the French School, wearing Nottingham Forest jersey.
After a fierce battle on the field, Independent School won 6-3 placing them seventh on the league table with six points whereas the French School are now 10th on three points from six matches played.
In the other matches played, Pointe Larue School, wearing Everton colours, faced defending champions Persévérance secondary who play in the Arsenal jersey, with the former registering an impressive 7-1 victory.
In the west, the Anse Boileau, wearing West Ham jersey, emerged victorious in a close contest against Beau Vallon in Chelsea colours, winning 2-1.
The defeat keeps Beau Vallon’s Chelsea sitting at the bottom of the table with only a point from their six matches played.
In the girl’s matches, all eyes were on International School (Wolves) as they were in search of their first win against Beau Vallon Secondary (Chelsea).
Despite their best efforts, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
On the same day, the Independent School faced one of the league's toughest teams, precisely Belonie School (Manchester City), with the latter inflicting a heavy 16-0 defeat onto their opponents.
The week concluded with three exciting matches, firstly, leaders Mont Fleuri Secondary wearing the colours of Tottenham, defeated Plaisance Secondary (Liverpool) 2-0, bringing their total to maximum 12 points from four matches played, while Plaisance are fifth on four points following a win and a draw.
Persévérance won their match against Pointe Larue School 3-0 throttling them into fourth place, while Anse Boileau, in the West Ham jersey, crushed English River (Aston Villa) 11-0, boosting their chance to challenge leaders Mont Fleuri for the title.
