Seychellois artist James Agricole will be in Dubai early next month to take part in an international exhibition dubbed ‘Stimulate to Sustain’.

According to the Creative Seychelles Agency, Mr Agricole was selected by the organising committee after submitting his application.

In a press release the agency said it was an honour to have the artist representing Seychelles at such a prestigious event, from May 1 to May 12.

Mr Agricole has received his flight ticket from the executive director of Creative Seychelles Agency, Emmanuel d’Offay.

“The Creative Seychelles Agency, within the Seychelles National Institute of Culture, Heritage and the Arts, wishes James Agricole all the best and success in his participation in the exhibition. We look forward to seeing his work being appreciated by a wider audience,” reads the statement.

The agency added that it hopes this news will inspire and encourage other Seychellois artists to pursue their dreams and showcase their talents on an international level.
