Gran Kaz Lions beat Deevas Queens

Gran Kaz Lions, previously known as Roaring Lions, won against Deevas Queens in one of the league matches in the Shrihari women’s tournament.

Winning the toss, Deevas Queens opted to field first and they conceded 124 runs, picking 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Chamila Gamage (24) and Manisha Kanbi (12) were among the best batsmen for Gran Kaz Lions, while Lavanya Kaliyaperumal (2 wickets) was the best among Deevas Queens’ bowlers.

Upon chasing the target of 125 runs, Deevas Queens lost their wicket early.

Despite a good batting performance from Shalini V (29) of Deevas Queens, Gran Kaz Lions restricted Deevas Queens to a maximum score of 90/6 in 20 overs.

Hashini Gurusinghe (3 wickets) of Gran Kaz Lions was named the player-of-the-match for her bowling performance.
