Real Maldives trounce Skychef 13-2 to extend unbeaten run
Defending league champions Real Maldives are well on course to keep their silverware after stretching their unbeaten streak with a 13-2 trouncing of Skychef on Saturday, in their first match of the second round of the league.
They are now on maximum 39 points from 13 wins from as many matches.
One Stone who defeated Marine Maintenance 5-2 in their last league match are presently second on 33 points after 11 wins and two defeats from 13 matches played.
With 10 wins and three losses, the other Maldives-based team, Sunrise are presently third overall on 28 points and they registered a 7-3 win over Beach Boyz in their last league match.
Following their 11-6 win over Sorry, MLUH are presently fourth on 24 points, having registered eight victories and four defeats out of 12 matches played, and they are ahead of Marine Maintenance who have collected 22 points after eight wins including one on penalty shootout and five defeats.
Beach Boyz are presently sixth overall on 20 points from eight wins including two on penalty shootout and five defeats out of 13 matches played.
With 15 points garnered from five wins and seven defeats, Vision are presently seventh on the table, having suffered a 4-9 defeat against Club Stormy in their last league match.
Club Stormy, on the other hand, are presently ranked ninth on 13 points from five wins including one on penalty shootout and seven defeats.
Equator are in 10th place overall on nine points after registering three wins and nine defeats out of 12 matches played. They lost their last match on an 8-9 score to Skychef. As for Persévérance, they are occupying the 11th spot on the table, having collected six points from two wins and 10 defeats out of 12 matches played.
With a single victory and 12 defeats, Skychef are ranked 12th on three points, ahead of tail-enders Glacis who are on two points from a single extra-time victory and 11 defeats out of 12 matches played.
