Unbeaten first round and top position for Real Maldives

 

Reigning champions Real Maldives are comfortably leading the standings of the Seychelles Football Federation beach soccer league table, unbeaten on maximum points after the first leg of the competition.

Having played all the 12 matches of the first leg, Real Maldives have collected maximum 36 points from 12 matches played, winning all their games in regular time. They have scored 117 goals while conceding only 47.

Rivals and last season’s Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) Cup winners One Stone who lost 3-4 to Real Maldives in their last league match, are presently occupying second spot on the table, having accumulated 27 points from nine wins and two losses out of 11 matches played.

One Stone have scored 77 goals, while letting in 45.

After 11 matches played, Marine Maintenance are presently third overall on 22 points from eight wins and three losses, with one victory on penalty shoot-out.

In their last match, Marine Maintenance defeated Beach Boyz 6-5, while their goal tally is 70 for, compared to 59 against.

Fourth-placed Beach Boyz are on 19 points from seven wins and four losses out of 11 matches, having scored 79 goals and conceding 66, with one victory recorded on a penalty shoot-out.

The other Maldives-based side in the league, Sunrise, are presently fifth overall,  on 19 points from seven wins and three losses out of 10 matches played, with two victories coming in extra-time, giving them an inferior goal difference to Beach Boyz.

They have scored 60 goals, while conceding the same number.

Fifth-placed Beach Boyz are on 19 points from seven wins and four losses out of 11 matches, having scored 79 goals and conceding 66, with one victory recorded on a penalty shoot-out.

MLUH who defeated Glacis 5-4 in their last league match are presently sixth overall on 18 points from six wins and four losses out of 10 matches played, while with 15 points garnered from five wins and the same number of losses out of 10 matches played, Vision are presently seventh overall.

With five wins and four defeats out of nine matches played, Sorry are eighth overall on 13 points, ahead of Club Stormy who have accumulated only eight points from three wins and six defeats out of nine matches played.

Equator are presently 10th overall on the league table on six points from two wins and eight defeats out of 10 matches played, ahead of 11th-placed Perseverance who are on three points from a single win and 10 defeats out of 11 matches played.

Also on three points, Skychef are presently 12th overall from a single win and nine losses from 10 matches played, while Glacis are still carrying the weight of the table, having collected only two points from a single win in extra-time and nine losses out of 10 matches played.
