Football Enjoy Supermarket partners with Tigers FC |27 December 2022
Championship contenders Anse Boileau-based Tigers FC will resume the league wearing new uniforms after recently receiving a batch of equipment from Enjoy Supermarket.
It was captain Bertrand Esther who received the equipment which include complete uniform and water bottles from shop director Mr Manikandan during a small ceremony held outside the supermarket at Takamaka, in the presence of fellow players, members of the team management and coaches.
During the same ceremony, three players were also rewarded for their outstanding performance during the league.
Andrew Chang-Pen-Tive received an award for being the best player in training, while Phidellio Moustache was awarded for being the best youth player. Captain Esther received the player of the month award.
Tigers FC have been in existence since 1993. They were formerly known as Western Tigers before changing their name to Tigers FC in 2010.
For the past two seasons, Tigers FC have been under the leadership of chairman Elvis Jeremie and manager Kenneth Antat.
Presently coached by Rupert Pool, Tigers FC finished second last season on 15 points, only one point behind Marine Maintenance who garnered 16 points.
