Cascade Bullets sink St Louis Saints to reach semis
Cascade Bullets have secured their semifinal spot where they will meet Anse Boileau-based AB Boys, following their 69-42 victory in their last group match against St Louis Saints.
Bullets were drawn in group A alongside Mont Fleuri Ballerz and St Louis Saints, where they emerged victorious 65-47 over the former in their first group match.
Against St Louis Saints, Bullets were clearly the most dominant side, controlling the first quarter 23-4, before winning the second 21-9 for comfortable 44-13 half-time lead.
Despite being the weakest side, St Louis however had their moments in the match, especially in the third quarter where they managed to outscore Bullets, concluding the third period of the match 55-29.
The young St Louis side managed to keep their momentum in the fourth and last quarter of the match, almost matching Bullets on scoring, with the latter concluding with a slight 14-13 advantage to win the match 69-42 and book their semifinal spot against AB Boys who eliminated PLS Suns 58-41.
The other semifinal in the division will be played between Anse Royale who eliminated the Bel Air Basketball Academy (Baba) 59-51 in group B and MBU Boys who surprised league champions Anse Etoile 69-59 in group D.
