Pointe Larue ‘Everton’ and Belonie ‘Manchester City’ the winners

 

Pointe Larue ‘Everton’ and Belonie ‘Manchester City’ are the winners of the Seychelles Schools’ Premier LeagueGirls U-18 Challenge Cup finals for divisions one and two respectively after their victories in the finals played yesterday at Stad Popiler.

In the division one final, Pointe Larue ‘Everton’ edged La Digue ‘Norwich’ 1-0, while in the final for division two, Belonie ‘Manchester City’ beat Mont Fleuri ‘Tottenham Hotspur’ 3-0.

To reach the girls’ division one final, Pointe Larue ‘Everton’ eliminated Anse Boileau ‘West ham’ 6-2, while in the other semifinal, La Digue ‘Norwich’ beat Praslin ‘Brighton and Hove Albion’ 4-1.

In division two, Belonie ‘Manchester City’ reached the final after eliminating Perseverance ‘Arsenal’ 3-0, while Mont Fleuri ‘Tottenham Hotspur’ beat Beau Vallon ‘Chelsea’ 2-0.

On the top scorers chart for division one, Mahasiah Labrosse of Anse Boileau ‘West Ham’, Sherina Radegonde of La Digue ‘Norwich’ and Clara Libanotis of Pointe Larue ‘Everton’ have each scored four goals to top the ranking, while Janessa Cadeau and Chloe Roselie of Anse Boileau ‘West Ham’ have each scored three goals to finish second overall.

Urella Brutus and Kimbelly Chang-Tak-Hue of Anse Boileau ‘West Ham’, along with Camilla Cupidon of Praslin ‘Brighton and Hove Albion’ have scored two goals each to finish third.

For division two, Beverley Jean of Belonie ‘Manchester City’ leads the ranking with six goals, ahead of Farisha Hertel of Perseverance ‘Arsenal’ and Elvina Hoareau of Mont Fleuri ‘Tottenham Hotspur’ who have four goals apiece.

Third overall are Mari Tamatave of Belonie ‘Manchester City’ and the duo of Etana Pointe and Naisha Cafrine of Mont Fleuri ‘Tottenham Hotspur’ with two goals each.
