Local Premier League champions La Passe have lost theirTotal Energies Confederation of African Football (Caf) Champions League preliminary round away leg match on a 0-1 score against the Volcan Club de Moroni.
Playing at the Omnisports Stadium in Malouzini, the Comoros, on Saturday, La Digue-based La Passe fell to a 0-1 defeat after Danny scored in the 15th minute of the encounter.
La Passe will now travel to Mauritius to host Volcan Club de Moroni in their ‘home leg tie’ on Friday September 16 at Côte d’Or.
This is because improvement work on Stad Linite that would allow it to be certified for international matches is yet to be undertaken.
