Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority gets new CEO and board members |10 September 2022

The Office of the President has announced the appointments of the new chief executive and board members of the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA).

The chief executive is Allen Cedras whose appointment took effect on August 16, 2022.

The board chairperson is Lucas D’Offay while Bernadette Willemin is the vice-chairperson.

The other board members are: Ashley Dias, Lenny Gabriel, Myra Gill, Julien Durup and Melton Ernesta.  

As chief executive, Mr Cedras is also an ex-officio member of the board.                                                                

The members of the board have been appointed for a three-year period effective as of June 1, 2022.

The appointment is in accordance with the new law, Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority, Act, 2022 that has replaced the Seychelles National Parks Authority (SNPA) and the National Botanical Gardens Foundation (NBGF).

The SPGA has been established to manage and administer parks and gardens and other designated areas.
