Maintenance work on street lights at Ile Perseverance still ongoing |26 August 2022

Maintenance work on street lights in the Ile Perseverance district that was expected to be completed on Wednesday, is still ongoing due to unforeseen circumstances, the Seychelles Infrastructure Agency has announced.

On Wednesday, the Seychelles Infrastructure Agency (SIA) informed residents of Ile Perseverance that the contractors had advised that they were expected to switch on the street lights in some areas of the district by yesterday, Thursday August 25.

SIA, with the assistance of the Public Utilities Company (PUC), is working tirelessly to resolve this issue and ensure safety in electricity network and thanks the public for its continued support and cooperation.

The public will be informed as and when the streets lights are switched on.
