After basketball club Beau Vallon Heat, on Wednesday it was the turn of the Seychelles Rugby Union to receive new kits from South Africa-based suppliers Optimum Sports.

The union received eight sets of uniforms for the four local clubs competing in the national league, along with an additional set for the national selection.

Already in official partnership with Optimum Sports, the Seychelles Rugby Union (SRU) has been the trailblazers in terms of getting the brand across and establishing it locally, while looking to extend it through other sporting federations.

The new uniforms were handed over to the respective teams by Optimum Sports’ local representative, Captain Luke Fonseka, who also heads the SRU.

The four teams presently battling in the local league are South Africa (made up South African expatriates), Madagascar (made up of Malagasy expatriates), Seychelles (made up of locals) and the International Barbarians featuring all other nationalities presently residing, or working in Seychelles.
