Marie Rosine Cesar is 101 years old |11 July 2022

It was on a hospital bed that Marie Rosine César of North East Point, Glacis, received her gifts on her 100th birthday on Saturday.

She was presented with gift hampers and beautiful bouquets of flowers from the President of the Republic Wavel Ramkalawan, the district administrators’ office of Glacis, and Hon. Regina Esparon, elected member of the National Assembly representing Glacis, on Saturday afternoon.

In the afternoon, she was discharged from hospital, but her youngest daughter, Marie Doudée, told Seychelles NATION that “she is not well.”

Mrs Cesar had seven children and has a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
