International Food Solutions donate yogurts, lunch boxes, T-shirts for athletes |21 June 2022
The International Food Solutions Pty Ltd last Friday donated a consignment of yogurts, lunch boxes and T-shirts for athletes who took part in the 44th National Inter-School Athletics Championships on Saturday.
It was the Minister for Education, Dr Justin Valentin, who accepted the 180 lunch boxes, 100 T-shirts and PMI and Pascual branded yogurts from the general manager of International Food Solutions Pty Ltd (IFS), Manoj Parayirikal in a short ceremony held at the ministry’s headquarters.
Mr Parayirikal said the company wanted to promote the branded yogurts among the children so that they get to practice a healthy lifestyle.
It was athlete Ana Louange from Baie St Anne primary school who thanked IFS for the generous donation on behalf of the ministry and her fellow athletes.
She said that the items would be of great benefit to them, especially the yogurts which would help boost their energy during the long day of competition.
Present were principal secretary for educational services Merna Eulentin, principal secretary for education sector development John Lesperance, other high officials from the ministry and athletes representatives from Baie St Anne primary school, Bel Ombre primary school, Perseverance secondary school and Plaisance secondary school and that of International Food Solutions.
IFS Pty Ltd, based at the Financial Services Authority (FSA) warehouse, Bois De Rose, is among the leading food and beverage distributors in the country.
