Yannick Nicette is the new association chairman

Yannick Nicette has replaced Francis Remie as chairman of the Seychelles Table Tenis Association.

Nicette was elected to the post for a two-year mandate during last Tuesday’s annual general meeting (AGM) held at the Omnisports Gym, Roche Caïman.

Nicette beat his only challenger Christopher Lesperance to the post of chairman.

As for Remie, he had been the association’s chairman since 1998 but did not run for re-election.

Samantha Aglaé remains as secretary, while David Low-Thion has been re-elected treasurer. As for Angèle Landry, she is the new tournament organiser.

The three ordinary members are Peter Youpa, Jimmy Vel and Zahira Khattab.
