MCB Sustainability Challenge launched

The Mauritius Commercial Bank (Seychelles) has officially launched the MCB Sustainability Challenge on its website and social media platform.

The bank’s managing director, Bernard Jackson, explained that the “MCB Sustainability Challenge is a year-long competition that promotes the importance of positive impacts and habits that will lead to a sustainable future. Every two months, participants will be invited to perform one or several challenges linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.

These challenges can be found on the MCB 2022 desk calendar and will be described in more details on the MCB website and with regular posts on their social media platform.

Everyone (including MCB Seychelles staff) can participate in the Sustainability challenge with the best submissions standing the chance to win nice eco-friendly prizes.

Only individuals are allowed to participate in the Sustainability Challenge. Only one entry will be allowed per participant per challenge within the specified challenge window. Participants can take part in all six challenges and are eligible for more than one reward.

Submissions should contain photos, videos and texts that are unreservedly owned by the participant. Stolen or copied images or texts will not be eligible to any rewards. Original written submissions can be in English, Creole or French.

A panel of judges designated by the Bank will decide on the best submission for the challenge based on its relevance, originality and the impact of the action on the SDGs. The number of Facebook likes will not necessarily determine a reward winner.

To know more about these challenges, please visit the bank’s website.
