Seychelles Judiciary releases first newsletter |13 October 2021

The Seychelles Judiciary yesterday launched its first Judiciary Newsletter, available on its website to keep the public and stakeholders informed and updated about the latest developments at the institution.

The first edition, which is up on the judiciary website, is a 21-page packed edition featuring a foreword by Chief Justice Ronny Govinden, a message from President of the Court of Appeal Justice Anthony Fernando, and lots of other useful information.

In addition to the latest events, the edition introduces the five new Attorneys at Law who were sworn in before the Chief Justice, and staff news.

Of particular interest is an informative piece about the role of the Chief Justice, and their mandate as per the Constitutions and laws of Seychelles.

To complete this first edition is a list of practicing lawyers and their licence status.
