The Rotary Club of Victoria has donated 700 dictionaries to all the schools of Seychelles.
The handover of the donation was part of an activity held at the Plaisance primary school yesterday.
The President of the Club, Angel Low Sauzier, noted that this gesture is to promote the culture of reading in our country and to help the students have access to a dictionary which is important in their development.
All schools also received stickers to be placed on the floor to help in respecting social distancing on their premises.
The private schools – International School, Independent School, Ecole Française des Seychelles and Trotters Stop – also benefitted from this donation.
The Rotary Club of Victoria has been very active in the community since the beginning of the pandemic and has donated various sanitary products to various institutions and families.
