Penlac lends a hand in beautification of Pointe Larue secondary school with paint donation

Giving a fresh coat of paint to the Pointe Larue secondary school

As the students of Pointe Larue secondary head back to school, the long awaited fresh coat of paint is visible upon entry through the school premises.

Visitors stepping through the gates are welcomed with the new touched up walls that brighten and liven up the place.

This was made possible through the gracious donation of some paint by Penlac, a leading company providing outstanding quality paint that has decided to give back to the community. With Penlac’s gesture, these will surely give our students and staff a fresh clean environment conducive to learning.

Following several requests and forwarded letters by the school’s head teacher, Raymonde Lavigne, seeking sponsorship on behalf of the school, the chairman and managing director of Penlac, Abdul Gafoor Yakub, was quick to respond with a consignment of 40 litres of paint.

The Council, PTA and management of our school would therefore like to extend their most sincere thanks to Mr Yakub and the Penlac family for their donation. The school is grateful to Penlac despite the hardship the company is going through amid the Covid situation. They did not hesitate to contribute to the school’s strategic plan to promote learning in a conducive environment.
