Paradise FM Chart Attack

‘Leson’ stays top, but Travis still going strong with one of two new entries

Last week’s Paradise FM Chart Attack show is somewhat similar to the previous week’s with two new entries on the show, including ‘Inonde’ by the man of the hour, Travis, which made its way directly to third spot.

Travis, who has been rocking the charts for a few strong weeks now, has a whopping three tracks on the higher end of the list, namely, ‘Plis ki Plis’, ‘Inonde’ and ‘Si Ou Ale’. ‘Plis ki Plis’ managed to retain second spot last week, after having claimed number spot for seven of the 10 weeks for which it has featured on the show. With ‘Inonde’ straight in at number three, ‘Si ou Ale’ last week slipped down a notch from fourth position to fifth, despite being in its 12th week on the charts.

The top spot last week went to Daniel and Auspicious with ‘Leson’, for its second week on top.

The previous week’s new entry by Colvin Beaudoin ft Mikhail entitled ‘Nou ti Amoure’ debuted at ninth position, but has in the space of a week climbed up to number four.

On the lower end of the charts, there has also been some movement. In sixth position last week is ‘En Beko’ by Daniel Freminot, Champion and Sedrick Marengo, followed by ‘Santer Oubliye’ by Jahrimba which has slid down four positions from third the previous week.

Perhaps the most memorable song of the year, ‘Memwar’ by MV featuring Omega and Riggid, is down two spots to eight, in its 23rd week on the charts. Can MV make it another week and rack up a complete six-month tenure on the charts?

In ninth position last week is Jahkim with ‘Ki Pe Arive’ (Donn en bal), also down two positions from the previous week. Tenth position last week goes to Mike Cedras with ‘Zezi ou Menm’, the week’s second new entry.

The SBC Paradise FM Chart Attack show is voted for by fans through SMS voting. Voting is open daily during the following times from Monday to Friday: 10am to 11am with Chicco Dan Paradi, 2pm to 3pm with Cusmun’s En Pti Pe Dan Tou, and 4.45pm to 6pm with Oriji in The Cruize.

The show is hosted by Collin ‘Oriji’ Aglaé every Sunday from 10am to 1pm on Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) Paradise FM radio.
