President Faure meets Australia PM Turnbull during CHOGM retreat |23 April 2018
President Danny Faure met the Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull during the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting 2018 retreat at Windsor Castle on Friday.
President Faure and Prime Minister Turnbull reviewed the existing bilateral cooperation between Seychelles and Australia and during their discussions they touched upon a range of issues.
The president also expressed his appreciation for the staunch support that Australia has given to small island developing states.
President Faure returned to the country yesterday after taking part for the first time in the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting (CHOGM) in London, England.
Also on Friday, President Faure and other heads of state and government from the Commonwealth nations took part in a retreat at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.
Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May and Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland also took part in the retreat.
