Gran Kaz opens new venue in the north |27 November 2017

People residing in the northern region has a wider choice of entertainment after Gran Kaz opened another slot house last Friday at Bel Ombre.

It is located in the same building formerly housing the Tequila Boom nightclub.

At Gran Kaz Bel Ombre guests are presented with a spacious, comfortable, modern and technologically-superior entertainment centre, for a wide range of audiences -- with 60 top-of-the-line slot machines, a smart “cashless” gaming software system, a delectable tapas menu, amazing signature cocktails, live entertainment and maximised security.

Addressing the guests, the public relations and communication manager Shama Amesbury stated that a Gran Kaz objective is to bring modern and clean entertainment experience for the community.

“When Gran Kaz was inaugurated back in 2014, our objective was to bring to Seychelles a modern and clean entertainment experience, aimed at those who want to discover and experience a relaxing and comfortable gaming atmosphere,” she said.

She went on to say that the first two venues in central Victoria have been well received and has inspired them to spread their wings and venture into the north of Mahé.

“We believe the high standards of service and entertainment we offer will be well received here as well at our newest addition to the Gran Kaz footprint.  We came in with eyes open, aware that the community wants to protect and preserve its cultural values and peaceful community life. We vow to offer clean, quality entertainment that conforms to the expectations of the community and respect their values. We wish to re-invent the image of this building under the Gran Kaz brand,” she said.

For the official launch guests were treated to an elegant evening of refreshments and entertainment. Sipping on bubbly and signature cocktails from the new Bar and Grill, which is an additional feature of Gran Kaz Bel Ombre, while being serenaded by violinist and cellist duo from South Africa, Friedericke Scholtz and Laetitia Van Wyk.

They were further entertained by an incredible performance from the international group ‘The Moonlight Invasion’, culminating in the ribbon cutting to declare Gran Kaz Bel Ombre officially open by chief executive of Gran Kaz, C. J. Laurent.

Guests were then invited inside to explore the new premises where the entertainment continued with a performance by the Aztec Warriors.

Gran Kaz Bar and Grill is open 7 days a week from 10am until 2am.

The importance of having a casino is to attract more tourists, also to keep local money inside the local economy by giving the community the opportunity to gamble in a friendly and modern environment.
