The Seychelles Tourism Board is relocating |25 August 2017
The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) will soon be running its operations to market and promote the Seychelles islands as a tourist destination at a new location.
The STB will be moving from the Espace building, where it has been based since 2013, to its new headquarters at the Botanical House at Mont Fleuri.
The move will be taking place during the week of August 28 - 31.
The STB offices will be occupying the ground and first floor of the recently built glass-fronted building at Mont Fleuri, which also houses the secretariat of the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine.
The chief executive of the STB, Sherin Francis, said there may be some disruptions to the services during this period, especially on August 30 and 31, when the STB offices will be closed.
She added that normal operations will resume on September 1, 2017, just in time for the start of another busy season of promotional activities and key events.
One of the main events locally is the Tourism week, an annual weeklong event at the end of September which coincides with World Tourism Day.
On the international front, the Top Resa tourism trade fair in France is one of the key promotional events coming up, also at the end of September.
The contact numbers and email addresses of the STB remain the same despite the office move.
