Kempinski Seychelles Resort celebrates fifth anniversary |22 May 2017
Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare has celebrated yet another auspicious milestone, when the entire team gathered on the hotel’s helipad to take a very memorable aerial photograph.
The enthusiastic staff stood shoulder-to-shoulder in the shape of a ‘5’ to commemorate the establishment’s five-year anniversary.
Following Kempinski’s 120th birthday celebrations last month, which was attended by over 300 hotel guests and local VIPs, including Vice-President Vincent Meriton, the hotel has since hosted several team events to celebrate both 120 years of Kempinski service excellence, as well as five years of success since the hotel’s opening in 2012.
Last week, a special dinner was held in appreciation of the team members who have been working with the hotel since early 2012. Each of these guests of honour were presented with a five-year service certificate and a special gift, as a token of thanks for the years of service they have dedicated to the hotel.
The stunning 64-hectare beach front property opened to the public in March 2012. Since then, Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare has retained its place as one of the leading hotels on Mahé.
Building on the success of the past five years, the hotel is now set to reach new heights for the benefit of both those who are visiting Seychelles and the local community.
Masami Egami, the hotel’s general manager, commented: “The past five years have been fantastic for everyone involved and associated with Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare. It’s been an amazing journey and a tribute to everyone who has worked here. We now look forward to the next five years ‒ and beyond ‒ and what will certainly be an exciting era for us.”
