Local models benefit from Wella workshop and show |16 December 2016
Coral Models took part in high-end hairdressing workshop and shows recently to reveal the latest trends in hairstyling.
These events, held early last month at the Savoy Resort & Spa, displayed over 300 hairstylists from France and it was organised by Wella France in collaboration with Creole Travel Services (CTS) and French company Agence 008.
Wella is truly renowned in Europe as a company that provides hair salon services. For 130 years, Wella has been developing innovations and services to enable hairdressers to stimulate their creativity. The story of Wella professionals begins in the 19th century with Franz Ströher, a young German hairdresser with a spirit of enterprise and a lover of his trade.
It is also a platform of amazing products thus another aim of this visit was to promote further use of their products.
Coral Models were reached by CTS to organise a casting with their models where more than 40 models were treated by the exceptional hairdresser before six were chosen for a Creole evening for this purpose of dyeing and cutting their hair on stage to show professionals the new cuts and trends of late.
Then four other models took part in a workshop for in-depth courses and finally eight models took part in a prestige evening where they wore couture dresses coming from the four corners of the planet.
The models selected with great care were Shana Payet, who took part in the Colombo Fashion Week, Naomy King – Miss Intercontinental 2016, Isabel Lavigne – Miss Hospitality at the Miss Intercontinental pageant in Sri Lanka last month, Mariette Dine – who did Top Model Of The World 2016, Olga Moor – Top Model in Russia, Lutha Quilindo – who will be seen more in the future, super young Clara Govinden – who is new on stage and the divine Vickie Poussou.
The director of Coral Models Joëlle Fabre said she is happy to be able to provide high quality shows on stage with our Seychellois models.
“This mix of fashion coiffure and our Creole models who were selected for their different hair types and quality was a dream come true,” she said.
She thanked CTS and Wella for their trust and opportunity.
