Follow-up on Liberty Global’s acquisition of Cable & Wireless |19 May 2016

Seychelles NATION’s attempt to get more details on how the Liberty Global acquisition will affect Cable & Wireless Seychelles has been unsuccessful. The company says it has internal affairs to deal with so it will get back to us at a later date.

It was announced on Monday that Liberty Global completed the acquisition of Cable & Wireless Communications to bolster its Latin American operations, bringing in businesses across the Caribbean, Panama and Seychelles.

The transaction is valued at approximately £3.5 billion (US $7.4 billion) on an enterprise value basis.
