Karatekas show their skills at National Championship |02 September 2015

Action from Saturday’s national championship

Karatekas from seven schools competed for top honours in the individual kata, team kata and kumite events during the National Karate Championship held over the weekend.

The championship was held in collaboration with the Care (Campaign for Awareness, Resilience and Education) clubs of Seychelles as the Seychelles Karate Federation (SKF) took in some kids with behaviour problems from various schools in a bid to teach them the discipline that is key to practicing Karate, with the hope of bringing a positive change in their lives.
