Football - Under-16 team get sports bags |12 May 2014

The Seychelles under-16 side, who are expected to travel for overseas training soon, have received a donation of sports bags from local insurance company – H. Savy Insurance.

The presentation was made at the H. Savy Insurance offices in Victoria on Friday in the presence of Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) chairman Elvis Chetty, members of the Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) executive committee as well as members of the under 16 team.

The sports bags were presented to the SFF chairman Elvis Chetty by H. Savy Insurance’s general manager Lambert Woodcock, who said that there are 1,000 bags in total worth R20,000.

“We have in the past sponsored various sports, and this year as part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) contributions, we have decided to donate to football, as we know the under-16 team are heading overseas soon,” said Mr Woodcock.

The bags are of two different colours – yellow and green colours – have the company's logo and motto printed on them.
