The spirit of giving catches on at La Misère primary |26 March 2014

Nearly one month after the National Council for children (NCC) officially launched the catch the spirit of giving at the La Misère primary school, the essence of the campaign is bearing fruit. Shania Hoareau, an eight-year-old pupil from Anse Boileau primary school, kindly donated a collection of toys to the year 1 crèche pupils. This donation came after the school had made several plights to members of the community.

Shania along with her mother, Doris Labrosse, made the donation in the presence of management members, teachers and pupils of the class. In return the pupils presented her with a little token to show their appreciation.

The staff and pupils of the school send a heart-felt thanks to Shania and wish her all the best in her studies.

The school is urging other individuals and companies to follow Shania’s example and make donations for the benefit of our children.
