Seychelles beat Niger, lose to Congo
The Seychelles team have finished with an even win-lose record of 2-2 in the 2014 Men’s World Championships pool V African qualifiers at the Palais des Sports Hall in Tunis, Tunisia.
Yesterday, the team won 3-0 against Niger but the set scores were very tight – 28-26, 26-24 and 26-24.
On Thursday, the team coached by François Ally had lost 0-3 (23-25, 21-25, 16-25) to Congo in their third match.
They also lost to hosts Tunisia on a 0-3 (19-25, 10-25, 16-25) score on Wednesday night. The team’s first win was against Senegal on Monday in the qualifiers’ opening match on a 3-1 (25-16, 18-25, 25-22, 25-19) score.
