Minister Mondon meets Mont Fleuri school staff |28 March 2012

During the meeting which took place recently, the minister called for a stronger partnership between the education department and the wider community as it is believed that the school will progress more and become stable with the full support and respect of its community.

Parents were also urged to play an active role by encouraging their children to study hard. The minister reminded all teachers of their role as nation builders and the necessity to work harder and strive for better results. 

The series of meetings are expected to continue in all schools during the coming weeks.

Another aim of the meetings is to keep the ministry in touch with its employees, share plans and programmes, discuss issues and concerns as well as strategies for improvement.
