Major facelift plan for Le Chantier mall |19 January 2011

Jacqueline Pierre – who heads the Social Security Fund (SSF) which owns the building – gave details yesterday, saying the building earns enough for its own maintenance.

She said the refurbishment is partly to prepare for new tenants including the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation, which will soon move its radio transmission operations to the mall from Union Vale.

The SSF has been advertising in the Nation for a contractor to do the work.
