Caroline Abel appointed Central Bank deputy governor |25 June 2010

The appointment will take effect on July 1.

Ms Abel is currently Head of Division for Policy, Market Operations and Statistics in the Central Bank.

The post of deputy governor was previously held by Jennifer Morel who took up new duties as Revenue Commissioner in May this year.
