Family alliance holds talk on reproductive health |15 May 2010
This was through a talk held by the organisation during the weekend at Dr Chetty’s clinic in Victoria which shared key information on the subject.
Attending the talk was Bernard Elizabeth, the chairman of the Liaison Unit of Non-governmental Organisations of Seychelles (Lungos), of which the ASFF is a member.
The alliance’s chairperson Germaine Valentin briefed those present about the organisation, including its history and mission. This was followed by the presentation on reproductive health.
Certificates were also given to trainers who had completed a course on a parenting manual designed to help parents cope with day-to-day problems they face in raising a family.
These people are now able to train other members of the organisation to pass on this information to the public.
