Ti Barth wows Seychellois crowd with his skills

Pti Barth mesmerising the crowd with his guitar playing skills

Reunion-born Ti Barth showed his skills in guitar playing, singing and dancing, accompanied by various local artists during both his shows.

An initiative of Casamba Productions in collaboration with C&A Trading, Saturday’s show featured artists such as Elijah, Mercenary, Red-I, Jahrimbah and Ras Ricky, and Sunday’s show presented Smash Kid, Chicco and another young upcoming talent, Kenji.

At only seven years old, Kenji – son of Gilles ‘El Manager’ Lionnet – unleashed his skills on a set of drums, and his father said he will soon be back, this time with a guitar in his hands.

Smash Kid and Chicco then warmed up the crowd with their popular songs, with the former presenting some that will feature on his new album, to be released this month.

And as soon as Ti Barth’s arrival on stage was announced, it was all the parents present could do to prevent their children from leaping out of their seats in eagerness.

Accompanied by brother ‘Toulou’ and father Philippe, Ti Barth began by interpreting several songs on guitar, such as Bob Marley’s No Woman No Cry, Michael Jackson’s Heal the World, and the Gipsy Kings’ Bamboleo.

It was his first show outside Reunion, and the little star was determined to shine.
He also sang some of his own songs, which included his dedication to mothers – Fé Roulé Maman – and Sa lé Bien Bon. Among Ti Barth’s skills is dancing, and he gave a display of Michael Jackson’s popular dance moves, including the moonwalk, for his crowd.

‘Toulou’ also presented some of his songs, including ones from his album that will be released shortly.
And to end the 90-minute show, Ti Barth was ready to sign copies of his album and other items that the crowd had to hand.

After a hectic weekend, which included a show on La Digue on Friday night, Ti Barth and company left Seychelles on Monday.
