Air Seychelles opens new duty-free shop

The shop, called Trezor, is in the departure lounge and sells many designer and well-known brands, as well as Air Seychelles gifts and souvenirs.

Items on sale include a variety of Clarins and L’Occitane beauty and skincare products, jewellery and ornaments by Swarovski, Antica Murina and Toscow.

Gift sets, sunglasses, watches and other accessories from Police and Jacques Farel are on sale alongside electrical goods and soft toys. Designer sunglasses by Dior, Armani, Hugo Boss and Gucci, and handbags by Longchamp are also attracting attention.

Trezor’s manageress Rosemary Monthy, who also manages the airline’s Vallée de Mai CIP lounge, said: “We have become more customer-focused and we are diversifying in the products and services we offer our clients.”

She said Trezor now complements the airline’s in-flight duty-free shopping and offers products not available on board.
Shop supervisor Lorna Fréminot said: “It is already a hit with customers as we are selling products that are not available in other duty-free shops.”
With fierce competition in the business, she says Air Seychelles aims to give its customers a wider choice of the best goods.
