James Gabriel makes comeback with Realite

His first CD entitled Realite and comprising ten songs has been on sale for more than two weeks now.

To prove to his fans and listeners in general that he still has the same voice, James’ new CD features some of his old songs but with new musical arrangements and backing vocals on some of them by well known local female vocalist Marie-Antoinette Dodin.

Mon Nide personn pa pou sanze, Tom Joe are but some of the titles which fans will enjoy all over again. The only new composition is Nou pti pei Sesel .

Also featuring on the CD are two songs by veteran Seychellois singer Peter Boniface whom James said he admires and respects a lot for his lyrics which are full of wisdom.
Those two titles are Mon gitar and Dir mwan.

James said that in his songs he touches all aspects of life and the two titles of fellow singer Peter Boniface also portray every day life issues which according to him are very fitting with the title of the album itself, Realite.

James pointed out that so far he has had some very positive feedback from fans and the public and that this is very encouraging.

He believes that his future on the music scene and the release of any future albums will depend on the responses and encouragement he gets.

For you who still have not added James’ CD to your collection, it is still on sale at the usual outlets on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
