Emirates open day |18 March 2006

The full-day recruitment programme will include a formal briefing on the airline’s multi-cultural work environment and on life in Dubai.

A team of recruitment officers from the airline’s headquarters in Dubai will be present to brief potential candidates at the open day, which seeks to invite applications from interested candidates, particularly those who cannot apply on-line via www.emiratesgroupcareers.com.

The open day, the very first step in Emirates’ recruitment campaign, is followed by an official screening process on the same day and final interviews on March 19 and 20.

Interested applicants should arrive promptly at 9 a.m. and present an updated resume together with full length and passport size photographs in business attire.

Successful candidates will be based in Emirates’ Dubai home, described in a press release from the airline as, “the most cosmopolitan of Gulf cities.”

In the press release Abdulrahman Al Balooshi, Emirates Area Manager for Seychelles states, “Successful candidates will avail of an attractive remuneration package including a competitive, tax-free salary, high-quality furnished shared accommodation, comprehensive medical coverage and 30-days annual leave with annual leave ticket to one’s home country. The airline’s cabin crew is also entitled to generous concessions on Emirates and other airlines, opening up a whole new world of exciting travel for the recruit.”
