Football-Ulric Mathiot on overseas mission |04 August 2005

Mathiot, a former Seychelles international and ex-coach of the country’s national team, will work alongside experienced Tunisian coaching instructor Ben Zarti Mahfound during the course which will run from August 4 to 13.

This is Mathiot’s first overseas mission after becoming a Caf and Fédération internationale de football association (Fifa) coaching instructor last year.

Mathiot, who is expected back on August 14, followed two courses last year and was successful in both.

In Ghana in July last year, he was one of the 14 candidates out of 25 who passed the Caf coaching instructor examinations. He then followed a Futuro 3 Fifa instructors’ course in Lesotho and was again successful.
