Barclays Seychelles appoints new chairman |14 July 2005

He succeeds Edmond Houareau, who has stepped down as chairman after serving on the Board for a period of five years, and who will remain on as a director. 

Commenting on the new appointment the managing director of Barclays Seychelles, Frank Hoareau, said: “We believe that Philippe has the necessary skills and experience to add both value and wisdom to the Barclays Seychelles operations and staff and would like to thank Edmond for his contribution to date.” 

Mr Boulle attended school in Seychelles and South Africa, thereafter completing his tertiary qualifications in both South Africa and London. He qualified as a lawyer in 1981 and is the managing director and owner of Intershore Consult (Pty) Ltd.
