Hearts carries out landscaping work at Bel Ombre primary school |28 October 2004
The activity to beautify the school's landscape formed part of a series of community projects initiated by Hearts to improve the presentation of their district.
The Hearts group was formed in January 2003 and brings together professionals and businessmen who are members of the Bel Ombre community and who wish to contribute to the development of the district and well being of its inhabitants.
The chairman of the group is Errol Dias, managing director of the Seychelles Licencing Authority.
Besides community work, the Hearts group also carries out activities to raise funds for projects which will benefit the community.
Hearts has announced that in November it will be organising a fishing competition at Bel Ombre, where fishermen and boat owners from all districts will be able to participate.
