SACOS employees and agents successfully complete Foundation in Insurance course |14 October 2013

The School of Business Management organised its 3rd Edition of Foundation in Insurance Course from the March 9 to May 25, 2013, with classes every Saturdays from 8.30am to 12 noon.
 
 The programme was offered to insurance companies, insurance brokers and agents and is designed to provide essential knowledge and competency needed to work as an insurance practitioner.

The course modules mainly covered topics on the basic principles of insurance, the insurance market, the different products under general insurance and life assurance, the rules and regulations governing insurance companies, brokers and agents, insurance marketing and customer service. The participants sat for the assessment at the end of the course.

SACOS sponsored the study programme for its recently appointed staff members and also the SACOS Life Agents, who were interested to follow the course.

The successful participants, from SACOS, were presented with their well-earned certificate in a ceremony at the SACOS Tower.  On behalf of the SACOS Life Agents, Gerry Uranie, who is based on Praslin, thanked SACOS for giving them the opportunity to acquire additional insurance knowledge and skills for improved performance.
