Spouses of Speakers who took part in the just-ended 14th conference of the Commonwealth speakers and presiding officers (CSPOC) here were amazed of the structure of the Perseverance primary school classrooms.

The ladies visited the school this week and were delighted to see the pupils in full swing doing their lessons while they did their round of the classrooms accompanied by head teacher Nella Belmont and subject coordinators.

Earlier the same day, the ladies had called on Dr Erna Athanasius, the Ambassador for women and children for Seychelles, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ conference room.

After introducing themselves to Ms Athanasius, the ladies gave an account of themselves and their countries. Most of the ladies are teachers and health professionals.

They also talked about what is affecting the youths in their respective countries and what they wish to see from their country’s youngsters do.
