Ju-Jitsu: Gaby Surman promoted to black belt |22 August 2013

Gabby Surman has been promoted to black belt first dan in Ju-Jitsu after following a five-day training camp in Mauritius and taking a grading session.

Accompanied by his father Benedict Surman who is also a Ju-Jitsu martial artist, Gabby trained with Hanshi Sorab, 8th dan Ju-Jitsu, from August 13-17.

Mr Gabby Surman told Sports Nation that they were given extra sessions which they will share with their local colleagues of the Perseverance Ju-Jitsu club in order to improve the image of the sport here.
