A simple yet ground breaking innovation could open the door to restoring millions of hectares of tropical island ecosystems currently threatened by invasive rodents.

Conservation scientists have identified a critical barrier to upscaling rodent eradication on tropical islands: the inability to effectively distribute toxic bait in dense mangrove forests – one of the most common and challenging habitats in these regions.
