Seychelles Pet Haven Society calls for more government action on stray dogs

The Seychelles Pet Haven Society is urging the government to do more to help with the growing problem of stray dogs in the country. Vice-chair of the organisation Sheila Sicobo said the number of stray dogs is increasing and the situation is getting worse.
“After numerous meetings that we have had with the ministry, we do not see any improvement,” she stated in an interview with Seychelles NATION.
“We were supposed to have a breeding act since last year. But we do not hear anything about it,” said Mrs Sicobo.
