Côte d’Or new leaders as teams pick up vital points

The stage has been set for an intense final day as Côte d’Or replaced Anse Reunion at the top of the Absa Premier League table with a 3-0 victory against the latter last Friday, while PTL Bazar Brothers played out a 3-3 draw with LightStars, St Michel earned a point in a 2-2 draw with Foresters, and Real Maldives returned from La Digue with a 2-2 draw against La Passe.

The match that many considered the main event between first-placed Anse Reunion and second placed Côte d’Or kicked of the weekend fixtures on Friday afternoon at the La Digue sports complex.
