75 and 13 percent of primary and secondary pupils benefit, respectively

The government of Seychelles, along with its cabinet of ministers, introduced free breakfast on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Additionally, they implemented provisions for free lunch in state schools. Recent statistics from the last term of 2023 indicate that 75 percent of primary pupils from crèche to P6 are benefiting from free breakfast and lunch, while 13 percent of secondary students enjoy the free breakfast.
